Description: Plain vase, slightly wider in the mid-section, small mouth at top with 2 small handles. Yellow glaze; bottom markings include Double-A, Van Briggle and date 1903 in handwriting to Artus Van Briggle. Impressed design #192. Black Roman Numeral II thought to indicate an experimental piece.
Dimensions: 8” height
Other: Roman Numerals in black ink marks thought to designate experimental piece. Family history is that this vase was displayed at the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis. The vase has remained in the Gress family since that time.
